Principal - Architecture
Firewall Security Architect Palo Alto Migration
Role Overview
Lead firewall architecture and migration initiatives using Palo Alto platforms
Act as primary escalation and technical authority for firewall engineering teams
Minimum domestic travel to meet the customers and drive project revenues
Key Responsibilities
Point of contact and escalation for firewall engineers
Collaborate with SITA Technical Architect and Project Manager on solution design
Provide regular status updates and reporting to stakeholders
Clarify technical solutions and resolve team queries
Oversee firewall migration lifecycle assessment design execution validation
Participate in project reviews and drive process improvements
Identify replacements by conducting interviews for attritions
Work closely with cross functional teams to deliver on time
Liaison with customer vendor management motivate team and own CSAT scores
Technical Skills
Palo Alto Firewalls PANOS and Panorama
Firewall migration experience Cisco Checkpoint Fortinet to Palo Alto
Rulebase design NAT VPN segmentation
Strong experience with Expedition and migration tools
Ability to script and drive templates and automation to scale migration
Experience
15 years in networksecurity architecture
5 years in Palo Alto technologies
Experience in largescale migration programs
Deliverables
HLDLLD and migration plans templates automation scripts
Status reports and governance updates on weekly monthly and quarterly basis
Risk logs and postmigration validation reports
Liaison with customer vendor management motivate team and own CSAT scores
