Product Manager, Applied AI, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
• Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or LLM's.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience shipping AI products, and in Generative AI, large models, and balancing model quality with cost/benefit tradeoffs.
• Experience in API design (REST/JSON) and industry-specific data standards (FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, SNOMED) or EHR systems (Epic/Cerner).
• Experience in risk, compliance, or healthcare (Provider/Payer/Life Sciences) within frameworks like HIPAA, GxP, or financial risk governance.
• Ability to drive goals, PRDs, and GTM strategy while managing complex cross-functional stakeholders and global launches.
• Ability to think strategically with ambiguity, iterating for product-market fit, and presenting to C-suite audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define the goal, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise-grade products, including Google Cloud’s Healthcare API and Risk AI portfolios, while driving expansion into new global regions.
• Lead the design and specification of new features (e.g., FHIR-based APIs, medical imaging, and AML detection) by authoring comprehensive PRDs and identifying key opportunities for growth.
• Manage critical relationships with global banks and innovative healthcare organizations, participate in executive briefings for C-suite audiences and navigate enterprise readiness or incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional data science teams to optimize model quality, recommend best practices for labeling, sampling, and AI-driven investigations.
• Balance feature requests and project delivery across multiple modalities using robust frameworks that weigh effort and complexity against OKRs and customer value.
