As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves ensuring the quality of solutions by carefully executing tests aligned with defined requirements and user stories. This role includes designing detailed test cases, identifying and documenting any discrepancies or defects, and working closely with delivery teams to support the release of dependable and user-ready software. The position requires a proactive approach to maintaining high standards throughout the testing process and contributing to the overall success of the project by validating expected behaviors and outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, defects, and test results to support transparency and traceability.
- Continuously improve testing processes by identifying areas for enhancement and suggesting practical solutions.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with test execution and defect analysis.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java.
- Strong ability to design and execute manual test cases based on detailed requirements and user stories.
- Experience in defect identification, documentation, and tracking throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with test management tools and methodologies to ensure organized and efficient testing processes.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with delivery teams and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Additional Information:

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
