Job Descrip[tion:

Experience: 6+ years

Role: SAP S/4 HANA ABAP, CDS, OData, RAP Consultant

Experience:6+ years of full-time experience in SAP ABAP, out of which 2-3 years of full-time experience in HANA ABAP programming with excellent expertise in In-App techniques, CDS, and ODATA API.

Design Build RESTful Application Programming Model RAP, good knowledge of CDS view, ODATA developments and working experience on SAP HANA 1909 or higher.

Core Data Services CDS is used to define semantically rich data models for all application domains.

The modernized and extended ABAP Language used to implement the business logic OData Services.

The concept of Business Object used for building transactional applications.

Must have worked on SAP S4HANA 1909 and higher.

RESTful Application Programming Model

Business Process / Functional Knowledge:

General business process and integration knowledge in SD & MM modules.
Soft-skills/Analytical skills & Other Requirements:

Good Analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be having enthusiasm and energy.

Very good awareness of the entire SDLC and processes related to SDLC. Should also be good in visualizing and formulating process flow diagrams.

Technical - HANA ABAP

Hands-on development experience of RICEF objects in both HANA ABAP and Core ABAP


• Hands-on expertise in In-App techniques.
• Hands-on knowledge in ODATA API and CDS Views.
• Hands-on development experience in different Views of HANA (Attribute & Analytical views).
• Creation of Calculation views from Analytical views.
• Reports: Interactive and ALV (preferably ALV using OO Methodology)
  Interfaces: BAPI, IDOC, and Flat file Interfaces (handling files on Application Server and Presentation Server)
• Enhancements: BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Spots (all are mandatory)
• Proficiency in areas like Data Dictionary and Performance Tuning
  Expertise in OO ABAP
• Expertise in In-line coding style and AMDP in HANA ABAP
• Performance Optimization Techniques in SAP HANA
• Currency Conversion and Usage of Variables in HANA
• Metadata import to SAP HANA Using SAP: Export Models and Import Models SQL Scripts, CE Functions and Procedures in HANA Hierarchies, Measures and Joins in HANA ABAP
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Fiori
• Nice to have: IMCE Clients - ODBO, ODBC, JDBC, BICS, MS Excel 2010 Connection to HDB and to Create Universe through Information Design Tool using JDBC Connections
