OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

He/She will be responsible to provide business-driven end-to-end solutions to meet our customers’ needs in gaining insights from our enterprise data, Animate and reinforce BI and Data Analytics governance as well as designing technical architecture to ensure a stable solution for our customer centered around the BW on HANA platform.

He/She will also be responsible for leading complex implementation, developing strategies, integration, enhancement of projects.

Location: Position will be based in Bangalore

 

RESPONSIBILITIES :-

 

1.As - BI Solution Expert:

 

Establish development specific standards guidelines, checklists Best Practices for data modelling and compliance, Guidelines on Data load, develop long term strategies, and roadmaps (12-36 months), in adherence to Enterprise standards.

 

Develop and Maintain Data Modeling and Data Management Architecture Strategies. Produce data Architectural design and guidance for complete application lifecycle design, development, deployment, support and Advanced Analytics solutions.

Provide data Solution Design for Complex Initiatives and perform data feasibility studies

 

Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability.

 

Make recommendations and proposals for data loading. Develop functional & technical design document to make SAP functional modules to Analytical systems as well as support business in pre-studies.

 

Strong ability to produce new technology specifications, solutions ,designed for optimal access. Demonstrate strong ability to gain buy-in on proposed solutions. Lead research and development efforts (proofs of concept, prototypes).

 

 

Provide technical expertise to propose effort estimates, work breakdown structures and technical resource planning for proposed and current work, to support the Demand Management process. Review the ongoing implementation solution for improvement opportunities.

Collaborate with the Shared Service Center on the scoping of complex uses cases delivered in Service Mode, Collaborate with the Project Delivery team on the scoping of complex uses cases delivered in Project Mode.

 

2. Plan and implement projects:

Develop a detailed project plan, define/validation of scope, objectives involving all business tower stakeholders ensuring technical feasibility. Monitor and track progress, Prepares action plans. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:

 

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience with SAP BW on HANA 7.5
• With minimum 6+ years' experience in BW on HANA 7.5 modelling (hands on), full lifecycle or green field implementations. Hybrid modelling scenarios are a must.
• Good to have With 3+ years of SAP Business Objects 4.3 experience Implementations and exposure on AFO (Analysis for Office )
• Strong Experience in Info Provider Administration, Process Chain Administration, Working with the BW Trace Tool, Optimizing Performance for Info Providers, Data Acquisition Performance Through Partitioning, Managing Performance with BW Statistics
• BW Security design & Administration / BW Analysis Authorization/Optimization and LSA++ architecture experience, Modeling (ADSOs, Open ODS, Composite providers, HANA Calc views)
• Experience in Data Acquisition, SDI Smart Data Integration (SDI) and SDA
• Strong Experience in SAP ECC extractors builds and enhancements using BADI and ABAP.AMDP knowledge is a plus
• Strong techno-functional knowledge in one or more functional areas (Sales, Logistics, P2P, Production planning, Procurement, Finance(AR, AP, GL), Engineering and FI areas)
• Good to have SAP Certification on SAP BW on HANA 7.5 certifications.
• Exposure to SOLMAN 7.2 charm

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering /Technology or related field
