Job Title: Senior Developer (Full Stack Java) – SAP SuccessFactors
Location: Devanahalli Campus, Bangalore North
What you’ll build
At SAP SuccessFactors, you’ll build scalable, enterprise-grade Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions that power critical business processes across global organizations. In this role, you will:
- Design and develop highly scalable full stack applications supporting areas like Workforce Planning, Story Reports, and People Analytics
- Build robust backend services and APIs that handle large-scale enterprise data with high performance and reliability
- Architect and implement multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS solutions
- Optimize systems for performance, scalability, and resilience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to engineering excellence through clean code, design patterns, and best practices
- Your work will directly impact on how customers manage and analyze workforce data at scale.
What you bring
Core Engineering:
- 8+ years of experience building enterprise applications using Java/J2EE
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST/OData APIs.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and system architecture. Experience designing scalable and distributed systems
Backend & Data:
- Strong experience with data modeling, database design, and performance tuning. Hands-on with SQL/relational databases and working with large datasets
- Experience building high-performance APIs and backend services
Cloud & DevOps:
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins/TeamCity
- Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
Frontend (Good to have):
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS or modern UI frameworks
Ways of Working:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Effective communication and collaboration across teams
Nice to have:
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HCM systems
- Exposure to Workforce Planning, Story Reports, or People Analytics domains
- Experience with large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms
- Basic familiarity with integrating AI/ML services into applications (optional)
