Roles & responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will collaborate with the data team to support the design, development, and maintenance of Data Analytics solutions that drive the digital transformation of Tax & Legal at KPMG Abogados.

•Support in understanding business problems and translating them into Data Analytics solutions, and provide guidance for junior team members.•Assist in preparing and maintaining data infrastructure in Azure and other cloud platforms.•Participate in the development and optimization of automation and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.•Help process and manage structured and unstructured data, working with large volumes of information and databases.•Collaborate in data ingestion, ETL processes, and data modeling for visualization tools such as Power BI.

Be part of a multidisciplinary team, learning from experienced professionals in various technological areas (Power Platform, RPA, UX/UI, etc.).

 

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

•Solid knowledge of cloud services (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Data Factory, etc.).•Understanding of relational databases and SQL.•Fundamentals of programming in Python.•Analytical skills, eagerness to learn, proactivity, and teamwork. 

Preferred technical &
functional skills

•Experience in development with Alteryx is a plus, but not mandatory.•Interest and basic knowledge in data visualization (Power BI or other tools).

Educational qualifications

•Degree or studies in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.

Work experience

•8+ Years of Total experience•3+ years of relevant experience •Any previous experience (internships, academic or personal projects) in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, will be valued.•Basic experience in development with Python and/or SQL.•Experience in ETL or automation projects.•Experience in development with Alteryx is a plus, but not mandatory.•Interest and basic knowledge in data visualization (Power BI or other tools).
