Senior Lead Quantitative Analytics Specialist
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Quantitative Analytics Specialist.
In this role, you will
Advise experienced leadership to develop performance on highly complex activities related to creation, implementation, and documentation of highly complex statistical theory
Perform operational risks to forecast losses and compute capital requirements
Develop quantitative strategies for real-time and long-term objectives
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring extensive knowledge of the most complex financial products
Utilize stochastic, structured securities and has expertise in the theory and mathematics behind the data
Provide vision to experienced leadership on implementing significant business solutions that are inclusive of technical, audit, and market perspectives
Collaborate and consult with regulators, auditors
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Quantitative Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science
Desired Qualifications:
- Education/experience in quantitative areas
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge in financial products/derivatives pricing, XVA and market and/or counterparty risk
Job Expectations
- Lead complex initiatives including creation, implementation, documentation, validation, articulation and defense, of highly complex quantitative models/theory
- Strategize short and long-term objectives, and provide analytical support for a wide array of business initiatives
- Executing KPI monitoring programs for FO pricing and XVA models across all asset classes
- Document the monitoring results, maintain testing data
- Support investigation for under-performing models/KPIs that do not meet expectations
- Enable decision making for product and marketing with broad impact and act as key participant to develop and document analytical models
- Present results of analysis and strategies to senior management and stakeholders
- Utilize stochastic, structured securities, spread analysis, with the expertise in the theory and mathematics behind the analysis
