Mandate Skill: Solid understanding of distributed systems and networking concepts

Significant experience planning and executing End to End Testing and Regression testing on multiplatform distributed systems

Debug and analyze issues in memory consumption, disk i/o, network issues

Good to have experience in handling - NIS/NFS/SAMBA/DNS/AD

The ability to build the understanding of how a customer will use the product and implement such scenarios.

Demonstrated organization skills to manage large volume of concurrent testing

Mid to Advanced administration and scripting skills on UNIX and Linux.

Good to have Solar Sparc experience.

Demonstrated ability to identify and isolate product problems and issues and assist developers with debugging.

Experience developing automation using PERL, HCL One Test or equivalent, and GUI automation using Selenium/Cucumber, Server-side automation

Experience developing build-triggered tests

Expertise in programming languages such as PERL, shell scripting, Python, Java and C

Experience and knowledge in handling Stress testing, Endurance testing of applications using Rest API, WebHooks, JSON, HTML UI and CLI commands.

Experience on identifying memory leaks, performance bottlenecks in the applications.

Knowledge in IBM Rational Performance tester, JMeter, Load Runner, AppDynamics tools are preferred.

In addition, experience working in a globally distributed team is a plus.

Good understanding and have experience using GIT.

CI/CD experience such as Jenkins

Experience in database testing (SQL).

The position involves all aspects of System Verification Testing for a complex, multiplatform distributed system including test development, automation, perl, shell scripting, execution and verification. The ideal candidate has significant hands-on test development experience and a desire to work on a complex product requiring deep technical expertise. Applicant must hold a bachelor s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
