We are looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Support Engineer with strong expertise in AWS and medium-level knowledge of Azure Cloud. The candidate will primarily focus on supporting and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructures including EKS, serverless architectures, and various AWS services like Cognito, AppStream, and Workspaces. The role requires medium-level knowledge of Azure Cloud services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings such as EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS, SES, and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).

Experience: 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a similar role with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.

• Mandatory AKS Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and scaling containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This includes knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring within AKS.
• Automation & Scripting: Strong proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Bash. Mandatory experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Comprehensive Azure Knowledge: Proven expertise across the cloud service models:
  • IaaS: Deep understanding of VMs, Networking (VNETs, NSGs, UDRs), and Azure Storage.
  • PaaS: Demonstrable experience with App Services, Azure SQL, and serverless computing (Azure Functions).
  • SaaS: Strong proficiency in managing identities with Azure AD and integrating enterprise SaaS applications.
• CI/CD: Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect), or AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable.
• Containerization: Broader experience with Docker and the container ecosystem.
• Security Focus: Knowledge of security frameworks and experience implementing security controls in a cloud environment.
• Programming Skills: Familiarity with a programming language like C#, Python, or Go is a plus.
