About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong software development expertise with practical experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This role requires a hands-on coding mindset and a design-thinking approach to build scalable, reliable, and user-centric systems. You will work across the full engineering lifecycle, driving automation, operational excellence, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Development

Design and implement robust, scalable applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.

Write clean, efficient, and testable code with a focus on maintainability and performance.

Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Design Thinking

Apply user-centric design principles to solve complex technical problems.

Collaborate with product and UX teams to ensure solutions align with business and customer needs.

Prototype and iterate quickly to validate ideas before full-scale implementation.

DevOps & SRE

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

Implement infrastructure-as-code and automate operational tasks.

Ensure system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident management.

Drive postmortem analysis and continuous improvement for system resilience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go).

Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

DevOps & SRE

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, FluxCD).

Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).

Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).

Mindset & Approach

Strong problem-solving skills with a design-thinking mindset.

Ability to balance technical depth with user-centric design.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
