Solution Architect, Commercial & Compliance Demo Environments

Within IQVIA AI and Technology Solutions, the Commercial Demo Enablement team designs, manages, and governs global demo environments that support Sales and Training across Commercial and Compliance solutions. Under broad guidance, the Solution Architect supports the design, provisioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of demo and training environments used for customer demos, internal and external training, customized demos, and Proof of Concepts.

The role is focused on keeping environments reliable, secure, aligned with product releases, and ready to support evolving business needs across a broad solution portfolio.

Essential Functions

• Supports the design, provisioning, maintenance, and enhancement of demo and training environments across Commercial Compliance, Information Management, Analytics Solutions, and IQVIA.AI offerings.
• Helps ensure demo environments remain stable, secure, and aligned with the latest product releases and business requirements.
• Supports solutions such as IQVIA Transparency Reporting, IQVIA Consent, Integrated Data Platform, IQVIA Master Data Management, Next Best, KPI Library, Personalization Hub, Incentive 360, AI Assistant, and Approved Content Generator.
• Works closely with Solution Engineers, Product Development teams, and other internal stakeholders to understand requirements and prepare environments for customer demos, internal and external training, customized demos, and Proof of Concepts.
• Troubleshoots technical issues affecting demo and training environments and helps restore readiness in a timely manner.
• Supports urgent demo and Proof of Concept requests that may require fast turnaround, pragmatic problem solving, and the ability to work effectively even when documentation is limited or solutions are still evolving.
• Learns new solutions, new features, and new product releases quickly in order to keep demo environments aligned with the latest business and product priorities.
• Contributes to solution ownership, release readiness, governance, and continuous improvement of demo environment processes and practices.
• Collaborates with global stakeholders and supports business needs during European working hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in solution architecture, application support, technical consulting, demo environment management, or similar technical roles.
• Strong technical hands on experience with SQL, RDBMS, ETL (knowledge),  Data Warehouse, and BI concepts and tools.
• Good understanding of data, analytics, and AI-related solutions, including prompt engineering and AI-enabled business applications.
• Strong interest in AI and enthusiasm for exploring how emerging AI capabilities can strengthen demos, Proof of Concepts, and solution enablement in a fast-evolving technology landscape.
• Experience supporting complex technical environments across multiple products, with focus on troubleshooting, release alignment, and operational readiness.
• Ability to work effectively with Solution Engineers, Product Development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders in a global organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to work independently under broad guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in life sciences commercial solutions, commercial operations, compliance, or analytics is preferred.
