Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Network Security Engineer with handson expertise in both enterprise networking routingswitchingWAN and network security firewalls VPN Zero Trust
The role focuses on endtoend network and security operations including design implementation troubleshooting and optimization across hybrid enterprise environments
Key Responsibilities
1 Core Networking VERY IMPORTANT ADDITION
Configure and manage
oRouters switches WAN edge devices
Support LANWANWLAN and SDWAN environments
Implement and troubleshoot
oRouting protocols BGP OSPF EIGRP
oSwitching VLAN STP trunking port security
Perform traffic flow analysis L2L7 visibility
Troubleshoot network issues impacting firewallVPN behavior
2 Firewall Security Operations
Configure and manage firewalls
oCisco ASA Firepower FTDFMC Fortinet Palo Alto
Implement and maintain
oSecurity policies ACLs NAT segmentation
Monitor and respond to
oSecurity incidents threats and anomalies
Perform firewall rule analysis optimization and cleanup
3 VPN Secure Connectivity
Configure and troubleshoot
oIPSec VPN sitetosite
oRemote access VPN
Ensure secure connectivity across
oBranch DC Cloud and remote users
4 Security Risk Management
Manage IDSIPS and threat inspection systems
Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation
Implement Zero Trust ZTNA ZIA ZPA where applicable
Support compliance ISO NIST enterprise policies
5 Monitoring Troubleshooting
Use tools like
oSolarWinds ThousandEyes Splunk
Perform
oDeep packet analysis
oRCA for complex networksecurity issues
Correlate network security events
6 Change Lifecycle Management
Perform
oFirewall upgrades and migrations ASA FTD
oNetwork device upgrades
Execute changes via ITIL processes ServiceNow
7 Documentation Collaboration
Maintain
oNetwork security architecture diagrams
oFirewall policies and config backups
Work with
oNetwork Cloud Security Application teams
