Experience

• 7–12 years overall IT experience
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure and application services on Microsoft Azure. The role requires strong hands-on expertise across Azure services, Azure API Management (APIM), networking, security, automation, and operations. The Senior Azure Engineer will work closely with architects, developers, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities – Azure Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure resources including VMs, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, AKS, Azure Storage, Azure API Management (APIM), and databases
• Implement Azure solutions aligned with architecture and landing zone standards
• Support cloud-native and containerized workloads

Key Responsibilities – Networking & Security

• Configure VNets, Subnets, NSGs, route tables, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, and secure API ingress via Azure API Management (APIM)
• Implement Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault, and Private Endpoints
• Apply security best practices and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities – DevOps & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions

• Integrate DevSecOps practices including SAST (Static Application Security Testing) and DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) into CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM.
• Automate deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python

Key Responsibilities – Monitoring & Operations

• Configure Monitoring – Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, AppDynamics, Application Insights, and APIM diagnostics/logging
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Support production environments and optimize cost and performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure Services including Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Container Apps, AKS, CI/CD, and IaC
• Strong troubleshooting skills in production environments
• Experience with Linux and Windows systems

Good to Have

• Azure Certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305)
• Experience with Enterprise Landing Zones, API-led architectures, and microservices
• Exposure to cost optimization and multi-region deployments

• Clear communication and documentation abilities
