Job Title: Senior SAP Master Data Functional Consultant

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Configure Material Master, Customer, & Vendor Data objects.
• Expertise in Material, Customer, and Supplier configuration.
• Independently drive business workshops to capture requirements.

 

 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Senior SAP Master Data Functional Consultant acts as the key liaison between the Business and IT organizations. This role collaborates with the Master Data Department, Business Process Owners, and global SAP functional analysts to implement and support global processes in consolidation, planning, forecasting, and reporting.

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide SAP MM functional expertise to Business and IT clients.
• Manage End-to-End Materials, Customer, and Vendor Master Data Management solutions, ensuring cross-functional integration.
• Identify business requirements and align processes in master data management.
• Translate Master Data processes into comprehensive solutions as defined in business cases.
• Configure the MM module, monitor solutions, create functional specifications, and guide developers.
• Ensure data enrichment and quality checks of master data.
• Analyze requirements for systems solutions to improve business processes and increase productivity.
• Liaise with cross-functional project teams across geographies.
• Lead SAP client engagements, designing and implementing solutions with a focus on material master data.
• Foster strong client relationships and mentor junior professionals to support successful project outcomes.
• Engage with SAP's latest solutions and participate in continuous learning for impactful business transformations.

 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certification in SAP MM

 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP MM.
• Expertise in system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing, and support.
• Proficient in BTP, BAPI, User Exits, Export Rules, ABAP code, and RFC connections.
• Experience in at least 4 full end-to-end SAP implementations focusing on material master data, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• 8+ years in a technical or functional lead role, overseeing teams on at least 3 full lifecycle implementations.
• Experience with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP S4 HANA implementations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse backgrounds and cultures.
