The Role

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps & Cloud Operations Engineer to support, automate, and optimize enterprise-scale Azure Data Platforms. The role will primarily focus on platform operations, infrastructure automation, CI/CD enablement, environment management, monitoring, and operational support across Azure and Databricks environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Azure-based Data & Analytics platforms across Development, Test, Acceptance, and Production environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep.
• Build, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Administer and support Azure Databricks environments, clusters, jobs, workflows, and platform configurations.
• Perform platform monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Automate operational activities to improve platform stability, deployment efficiency, and service availability.
• Manage Azure resources including ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Event Hub, AKS, and Networking components.
• Support release management, environment provisioning, patching, and platform upgrades.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams to ensure smooth platform operations.
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.

Azure Cloud

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms in production environments.

Infrastructure as Code
