A studio photographer for passport and portrait services captures official ID photos, professional headshots, and personal portraits. They manage the entire client experience—from studio lighting and posing to camera operation and high-quality image editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Studio Setup: Arrange backgrounds, lighting equipment, and props according to client needs or official documentation specifications.
• Passport & ID Photos: Follow strict international government sizing and background guidelines to capture compliant passport, visa, and ID photos.
• Portrait & Headshot Photography: Direct subjects, adjust poses, and establish rapport to capture natural, professional, and high-quality portraits.

Editing & Post-Processing: Utilize photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to adjust lighting, crop accurately, and perform necessary retouching.

Client Service: Consult with clients, review proofs, and ensure customer satisfaction before printing or delivering digital files.

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, clean, and troubleshoot camera bodies, lenses, strobes, and printers.

Essential Requirements

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, studio strobes, and continuous lighting setups.
• Software Knowledge: Expertise in industry-standard photo editing and tethering software.
• Attention to Detail: Deep understanding of exact technical requirements for various national passports and professional image standards.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to direct non-professional subjects and put them at ease.
• Qualifications: A degree in photography or fine arts is often preferred, alongside a strong portfolio demonstrating lighting and composition skills
