Job Overview

Coordinates and monitors project and support teams to ensure timely implementation of organizational projects. 

Job Requirements

• • Lead and supervise New Product Introductions, Sustaining, Advanced development and/or Infrastructure (such as Lab capability expansion etc.) projects through clear cross functional communication and teamwork.
  • Establish and maintain project scope and schedule throughout the project lifecycles through utilization of TE tools and by assuring integrity of project deliverables.
  • Clearly communicate roles, expectations, and accountabilities to core and extended team members on a regular basis. Be a resource to facilitate the resolution of project issues.
  • Assure projects are completed in accordance with the BU objectives for On-Time Delivery & Quality
  • Provide progress reports, update the TE Project System / Metrics / Tools, escalate problems appropriately, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead the creation of action plans, monitor their implementation, and track results.
  • Identify key risks and opportunities related to projects within product portfolio, supplier and partners.
  • Identify resource bottlenecks, develop & execute plans for resource and timeline optimization.
  • Manage project capital budgets and ensure execution in alignment with business unit’s financial plan.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with business unit goals.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Prior experience with waterfall stage-gate process (Mandatory)
• Prior experience with Agile / SDLC process (Good to Have)
• Proven track record of successful product launches.
• Understanding of Manufacturing technologies and LEAN
• Financial acumen (to maintain capex and opex plans, and to prepare P&Ls)
• Experience in MIS reporting
• Ability to form successful (matrix) working relationships quickly at all levels
• Strong proficiency in project management software such as MS Project and/or Planisware
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education and Critical Experience

• Graduate degree in engineering (preferably Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical)
• 8-10 years of experience in project management in manufacturing & engineering functions
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience in managing complex projects and cost-saving initiatives
• Experience of working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds in a matrix organization
