Your new role

As a Specialist - Digital Media, you'll be at the forefront of search innovation, leading organic search, paid search, YouTube, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies that maximize Novo Nordisk's visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. You'll bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and patient needs, ensuring our treatments reach those who need them most.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, developing, and implementing SEM, YouTube, and GEO strategies aligned with business priorities across CEO, IO Fast, and Affiliate teams globally
  • Executing end-to-end search and YouTube campaigns, ensuring alignment with both global frameworks and local market needs across multiple regions
  • Designing and running structured experiments, analyzing data to identify optimization opportunities across paid, organic, and generative search ecosystems
  • Tracking and reporting on website performance, building actionable dashboards that deliver insights to stakeholders across the organization
  • Acting as subject matter expert in SEM, SEO, and GEO, leveraging tools such as SEMrush and Screaming Frog to drive technical audits and performance improvements
  • Conducting ongoing keyword, entity, and search intent research aligned to therapeutic areas, user journeys, and business goals
  • Collaborating with web, analytics, and marketing teams to embed SEO and GEO best practices into platform development and content delivery
  • Staying ahead of evolving search and AI-driven discovery trends, advising stakeholders on emerging opportunities

 

Your new department

In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness upstream, and maximising portfolio potential through successful commercial strategies and competitive launches downstream.

Within this area sits the Digital Media Hub, where we drive digital excellence across search, social, and emerging AI platforms. Our team of specialists ensures Novo Nordisk maintains strong visibility in the digital spaces where patients and healthcare professionals seek information. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise directly influences how we reach and engage with millions of people worldwide.

 

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a digital media specialist who thrives at the intersection of technology, data, and patient impact. You'll bring with you:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in search marketing with proven expertise across SEM, SEO, YouTube, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Ads and expert-level experience with SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or equivalent website and technical audit tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with high data literacy and the ability to transform complex data into clear, evidence-based recommendations
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and their impact on search performance
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and effective time-management skills
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant area
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
