We are currently seeking a SSIS / SQL Developer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled SQL / SSIS Developer to support claims data migration from a legacy claims system to Guidewire. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, SQL jobs, and SSIS, with a focus on developing, executing, and optimizing data migration and transformation processes. This role involves working closely with business and technical teams to ensure accurate, secure, and high-performance migration of claims-related data into Guidewire.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain SSIS packages for claims data extraction, transformation, and loading from legacy systems to Guidewire.
Write, modify, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and SQL Server Agent jobs to support migration activities.
Analyze source system data and perform required data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation.
Work with business analysts, migration teams, and Guidewire stakeholders to understand claims migration requirements.
Support end-to-end data migration cycles, including mock runs, testing, reconciliation, and production migration.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loads, transformation logic, job failures, and data quality.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and completeness during migration from the legacy claims platform to Guidewire.
Perform performance tuning of SQL scripts, procedures, and SSIS packages for efficient migration processing.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for migration logic, source-to-target mappings, ETL workflows, and validation results.
Support deployment activities and provide post-migration validation and production support.

Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server development.
Expertise in T-SQL, including stored procedures, joins, functions, cursors, temporary tables, and complex queries.
Experience in developing and supporting SSIS packages.
Good experience with SQL Server Agent jobs, scheduling, and batch execution.
Strong understanding of data migration, ETL, and data validation/reconciliation processes.
Experience working with legacy system data migration projects.
Ability to analyze and transform complex data structures for target system loading.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams in requirement analysis, testing, and deployment support.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Guidewire, especially Guidewire ClaimCenter, is highly preferred.
Experience working with claims data in insurance domain is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with data mapping, reconciliation reports, and migration testing.
Exposure to Agile delivery model is a plus.
