Job Title: SAP PP Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to support end‑to‑end implementation, enhancements, and support activities in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong domain knowledge in manufacturing processes and hands‑on experience in configuring SAP PP modules while working closely with business and cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and support SAP PP modules including:

Demand Management

Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

Production Orders

Capacity Planning

Shop Floor Control

Analyze business manufacturing processes and translate them into effective SAP PP solutions.

Support end‑to‑end SAP PP implementation, rollouts, enhancements, and support projects.

Work closely with MM, SD, QM, PM, FI/CO, and ABAP teams for integrated solutions.

Handle PP integration with:

MM (MRP, goods movements)

SD (demand planning)

FI/CO (costing, settlements)

Participate in UAT, testing, cutover activities, go‑live, and hypercare support.

Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide sustainable solutions.

Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and user manuals.

Conduct user training sessions and knowledge transfer to support teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8–10 years of hands‑on experience in SAP PP configuration and support.

Strong understanding of:

Manufacturing business processes

Make‑to‑Stock (MTS), Make‑to‑Order (MTO), and Engineer‑to‑Order (ETO)

BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, and Production Versions

Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA PP.

Good knowledge of MRP types, planning strategies, scheduling, and capacity leveling.

Strong understanding of PP–MM, PP–SD, and PP–FI/CO integration.

Ability to engage with business stakeholders and convert requirements into SAP solutions.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

Experience in S/4HANA PP implementation or migration projects

Exposure to PP/DS, APO, or embedded PP in S/4HANA

Knowledge of QM integration with PP

Experience in discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing

Client‑facing experience and global rollout exposure

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or equivalent.

SAP PP Certification is an added advantage.
