Supplier Development Manager

Your future role

You'll play a critical role in driving supplier quality development strategies and ensuring the highest standards of quality performance across our supplier network. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Procurement, Engineering, and Operations), conduct supplier audits, and manage supplier development action plans to enhance their capabilities and performance.
You’ll specifically take care of defining and executing supplier development priorities and managing supplier performance evaluations, but also contribute to the continuous improvement of our supplier development tools, methods, and processes.
We’ll look to you for:
Deploying the Supplier Quality Development strategy within the commodity
Advising Procurement Commodity teams on strategy definition and execution
Conducting supplier process evaluations, including generic and special process audits
Defining and consolidating the Supplier Development Priority List and associated audit plans
Ensuring consistency and quality in audits conducted by regional teams
Driving and monitoring Supplier Development action plans at domain and regional levels
Providing expertise to support global supplier quality networks and critical issue resolution
Organizing and executing workshops at suppliers’ premises to enhance their capabilities
Measuring and analyzing the impact of supplier development activities
Promoting and enforcing Supplier Development standards and best practices
Contributing to the continuous improvement of Supplier Development tools, processes, and methodologies

Degree in Technical and/or Quality Engineering (Master’s level or equivalent)
5–10 years of experience in industry in roles such as Quality, Production, or Engineering
Experience in developing suppliers for interior/FRP/painted parts
Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., problem-solving, risk management tools)
NDT Level 2 certification in accordance with ISO9712
Knowledge of special processes (e.g., welding, torquing, painting, gluing, riveting)
Experience managing global suppliers
Understanding of mass production industries (e.g., railway, engineering, automotive)
Familiarity with supplier quality and program management
Proficiency in audit techniques and methodologies
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies
Understanding of IRIS Standard requirements and quality management systems
Leadership with strong communication and influencing skills
Fluent in English
