Team Leader - Software

Operating Systems Administration: Administer and maintain a variety of operating systems, including HP UX, SUSE Linux, AIX, Linux, Ubuntu, and Solaris. Ensure the stability, performance, and security of these platforms.Patch Management: Administer patch management processes for all supported operating systems to address vulnerabilities and maintain system health. Implement regular updates and security patches.Operating System Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of different operating systems, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and resource utilization issues. Implement best practices for efficient system operation.Hypervisor Administration: Administer virtualization technologies, including VMware, XenServer, VMware Workstation, Microsoft Hyper V, and Oracle VM. Manage virtual machines and resources within these hypervisors.Virtual Machine Deployment: Create, deploy, and maintain virtual machines to support various workloads and applications. Configure virtual networks, storage, and virtual machine settings.Virtualization Performance Tuning: Optimize virtualization environments for efficiency and resource utilization.Ensure that virtual machines perform at their best.High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions within virtualization platforms. Ensure business continuity in case of system failures.Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of platform configurations, virtualization setups, and procedures.Create user guides and training materials.Reporting: Provide regular reporting to management on platform and virtualization status, performance, and compliance.
