Summary:
As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall control, precision, and reliability of testing activities by integrating advanced tools and methodologies. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring that testing efforts align with organizational goals to deliver high-quality software products. Collaboration across teams and proactive problem-solving are key elements throughout the day to maintain and elevate testing standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing processes and implement best practices within the team.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Node.js.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with JavaScript, Python (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Ability to design and implement scalable automated test scripts.
- Experience in integrating automated tests within continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting automated test failures.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Node.js.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
