Role Summary
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on manufacturing leader to head our Frames Manufacturing operations. The role will oversee end-to-end manufacturing—from raw material planning and production to quality assurance and process excellence—ensuring world-class product quality, speed, and efficiency at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all manufacturing operations for frames across multiple facilities, ensuring alignment with global production goals, quality standards, and cost targets.
Build and execute a multi-year roadmap to scale capacity, productivity, and automation in line with Lenskart’s global growth.
Drive operational excellence through lean practices, TPM, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 adoption.
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Merchandising teams to ensure manufacturability and timely launches of new collections.
Oversee planning, procurement, and maintenance functions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Build and develop high-performing plant leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and labor standards.
Partner with international teams to benchmark global best practices and bring innovation into Lenskart’s frame manufacturing ecosystem.
Ideal Candidate Profile
15+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large-scale operations.
Strong exposure to precision manufacturing (eyewear, electronics, auto components, or consumer durables preferred).
Proven track record of scaling capacity, implementing lean systems, and delivering cost and quality improvements.
Deep understanding of materials, processes, and quality systems related to metal and acetate frames.
Technologically forward mindset — comfortable driving automation, digital manufacturing, and process analytics.
Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
