Injection Moulding Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

Operate Injection Molding Machines as per production plans.

• Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, cycle time, and cooling time.
• Load and handle PET raw materials and masterbatches.
• Ensure continuous production with minimum downtime.
• Check molded products for quality defects and dimensional accuracy.
• Remove defective products and report quality issues immediately.
• Maintain production records, rejection reports, and machine logs.
• Perform routine cleaning of machines, molds, and work areas.
• Assist in mold changing and machine setup activities.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and 5S standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of Injection Molding Machine Operations.
• Understanding of PET material processing.
• Basic troubleshooting of machine and process issues.
• Understanding of production documentation and quality standards.
• QualificationITI / Diploma in Plastic Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10th/12th Pass candidates with relevant experience may also apply.
• Experience2–5 Years experience in Injection Molding Operations.
• Experience working with PET, PP, HDPE, LDPE, ABS, Nylon, or Engineering Plastics preferred.
• Experience in PET preform, PET packaging, or plastic component manufacturing will be an advantage.
• Preferred KnowledgePET Material Drying Process.
• Hopper Loader & Dryer Operations.
• Mold Changing & Machine Setup Assistance.
• Production Target Achievement.
• Preventive Maintenance Support.
• Quality Inspection Tools & Procedures.
