Job Summary

The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for preparing accurate fabrication drawings, layouts, and production documentation for sheet metal components and assemblies. The role requires a good understanding of manufacturing processes, including laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly, to ensure designs are production-ready and cost-effective.

 Key Responsibilities

·       Prepare 2D and 3D drawings for sheet metal fabrication projects.

·       Develop fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

·       Coordinate with engineering and production teams for design execution.

·       Ensure drawing accuracy, quality standards, and manufacturing feasibility.

·       Update and maintain design revisions and project documentation.

 Required Qualifications

·       Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·       3–6 years of experience in AutoCAD design within the sheet metal fabrication industry.

·       Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks will be an added advantage.

·       Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and technical drawings.
