About the Role

Glutape India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive, hands-on, and execution-focused Factory Manager to independently manage day-to-day factory operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling production, manpower, stores, dispatch, inventory, quality, and shop-floor discipline while ensuring smooth factory operations.

This role is suitable for experienced professionals currently working as Factory Manager, Assistant Factory Manager, Production Supervisor, Senior Production Supervisor, Shift Incharge, Production Incharge, or similar manufacturing roles looking for greater responsibility and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production activities.

• Ensure achievement of daily and monthly production targets.

• Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.

• Reduce production delays, downtime, and wastage.

• Coordinate production activities for smooth workflow.

Manpower Management

• Supervise and lead shop-floor workers.

• Maintain discipline and productivity.

• Allocate manpower based on production requirements.

• Monitor attendance, overtime, punctuality, and workforce efficiency.

• Resolve day-to-day operational and manpower issues.

Stores & Inventory

• Coordinate with Stores for timely availability of raw materials.

• Monitor inventory movement and WIP.

• Ensure proper stock handling and inventory accuracy.

• Support stock verification activities.

Dispatch Coordination

• Coordinate dispatch planning.

• Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.

• Coordinate with production and stores to meet delivery schedules.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure adherence to SOPs and production processes.

• Coordinate with QC to resolve quality issues.

• Maintain housekeeping and implement 5S practices.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards. Reporting

• Maintain daily production reports.

• Monitor manpower productivity.

• Prepare operational reports for management.

• Escalate operational issues with practical solutions.

• Safety & SOP Compliance Education ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or related disciplines.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.

• Experience in handling workers and shop-floor operations is mandatory.

• Experience in production planning, manpower management, stores, inventory, dispatch, and reporting is preferred.
