Position: Senior Factory Supervisor / Senior Production Supervisor

Location: Bhiwandi, Maharashtra

Department: Factory Operations

Reporting To: Factory Operations Manager / Management

Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Experience: 5–8 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and disciplined Senior Factory Supervisor to manage day-to-day shop-floor operations, supervise manpower, and ensure smooth production, quality, stores, and dispatch activities.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure achievement of targets.

• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

• Monitor production delays, downtime, and resolve operational issues.

• Ensure smooth workflow and timely execution of production plans. Manpower Management

• Supervise workers and maintain discipline on the shop floor.

• Allocate manpower as per production requirements.

• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and productivity.

• Resolve day-to-day manpower and shop-floor issues.

Stores, Inventory & Dispatch

• Coordinate with Stores for timely availability of materials.

• Monitor material usage, WIP, and finished goods movement.

• Support stock verification and inventory control activities.

• Coordinate with Dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and work instructions.

• Coordinate with QC team to address quality issues.

• Maintain housekeeping, safety practices, and 5S implementation. Reporting & Coordination

• Maintain daily production, manpower, and operational reports.

• Provide regular updates to management and escalate critical issues. KPAs • Achievement of production targets.

• Improvement in manpower productivity.

• Reduction in downtime and wastage.

• Inventory accuracy and material availability.

• Timely dispatches.

• Discipline, safety, and SOP compliance.

Education - ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Industrial, or related disciplines.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.

• Experience in handling workers and shop-floor operations is mandatory.

• Candidates working as Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Factory Supervisor, or similar roles may apply.

Preferred Industries - Adhesives, Chemicals, Paints, Polymers, Plastics, Packaging, FMCG, Industrial Manufacturing, Building Materials, or related industries.

Skills Required

• Shop-floor supervision and manpower handling.

• Production planning and operational coordination.

• Inventory and dispatch coordination.

• Problem-solving and reporting skills.

• Basic MS Excel knowledge.

• Knowledge of SOPs, quality, and safety practices.
