Field Engineer

Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and responsible CCTV Installation & Security Systems Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems, EPABX systems, and Access Control Systems at client locations. This is a field-based role that requires frequent travel to customer sites. The candidate must own a motorcycle/bike and possess a valid driving license.

Key Responsibilities

• CCTV Systems Install, configure, and commission CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related surveillance equipment.
• Perform cable laying, termination, routing, and network connectivity for CCTV systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system health checks.

EPABX Systems Install and configure EPABX and intercom systems.

• Troubleshoot telephony and communication-related issues.
• Perform extensions setup, programming, and system testing.

Access Control Systems Install and configure biometric devices, card readers, door controllers, and related equipment.

• Integrate access control systems with attendance and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain installed systems.

General Responsibilities

• Read and understand wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Visit client sites for installations, maintenance, and service calls.
• Ensure timely project execution and completion.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients during installations.
• Maintain service reports and installation documentation.
• Follow safety standards and company procedures at all job sites.

Required Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in CCTV, EPABX, Access Control, or Security Systems installation.
• ITI / Diploma / Technical Certification in Electronics, Electrical, Networking, or a related field.
• Freshers with relevant technical training may also be considered.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of CCTV systems (Analog & IP Cameras).
• Experience with DVR, NVR, networking, and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of EPABX and intercom systems.
• Experience with biometric and access control systems.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches).
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently at client sites.
• Mandatory RequirementsOwn motorcycle/bike for field visits.
• Valid driving license.
• Willingness to travel across assigned locations.
• Ability to work at customer premises and project sites.
• Preferred SkillsExperience handling complete project execution from installation to commissioning.
• Knowledge of attendance systems, video door phones, and networking solutions.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
