Job Opening: Purchase Officer

Location: Bhumi World, Pimplas, Bhiwandi, Thane

Position: Purchase Officer

Experience: 2 to 3 Years (Mandatory in Stabilizer/Transformer Manufacturing Industry)

Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

Procurement of transformer, stabilizer, electrical, mechanical and fabrication materials.

Vendor sourcing, development and supplier management.

Obtaining quotations and negotiating prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

Preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and maintaining procurement records.

Coordinating with production, stores, and accounts departments.

Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Follow-up with vendors for material delivery and quality compliance.

Maintaining purchase MIS reports and documentation.

Cost control and identification of alternate suppliers for better procurement efficiency. Procurement professionals are typically responsible for supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase planning, inventory coordination, and timely sourcing of materials. 

Candidate Requirements:

Graduate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Commerce, or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in purchasing for transformer/stabilizer manufacturing.

Knowledge of electrical components, copper, CRGO, transformers, stabilizers, panels, and related materials.

Good negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and purchase documentation.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple vendors.
