Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Warehouse Manager with 5+ years of warehouse and logistics management experience for Patanjali under Super distribution Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, optimizing storage and distribution processes, maintaining safety standards, and leading warehouse teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and dispatch.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.

Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices.

Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to improve efficiency.

Inventory Management

Monitor inventory levels and ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to maintain stock availability.

Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and reporting.

Team Leadership

Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff and supervisors.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and training.

Develop workforce schedules and manage staffing requirements.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and warehouse standards.

Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions.

Maintain proper documentation and records as required by regulatory authorities.

Promote a safe working environment and reduce workplace incidents.

Process Improvement

Analyze warehouse performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Implement cost-saving initiatives and productivity enhancement programs.

Drive continuous improvement projects to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain processes.

Reporting & Administration

Prepare and present warehouse performance reports, KPIs, and inventory reports.

Manage warehouse budgets and control operational expenses.

Coordinate with transportation providers and vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing processes, and logistics operations.

Experience using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management.

Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, E-commerce, Retail, or Distribution industries.

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
