Supervisor/Incharge

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Bridge the gap between the Director of Operations and the technical field teams.
• Supervise daily building maintenance activities to ensure compliance with university quality standards.
• Project Monitoring of all pending works of the construction division & Provide detailed daily progress reports on facility status
• Prepare contractor performance reports on daily basis and review weekly/ Monthly.
• Ensure that technical teams have the necessary materials to execute all pending &maintenance works.
• Follow established safety protocols including Fire Safety.
• Prepare punch list while transition from construction to maintenance & ensure completion of punch list at Std Quality levels.
• The appointed 5 Supervisors will be allotted different faculties combo based on their previous exposure, experience & skill sets.
• Appoint skilled/ Unskilled, Temp/Perm/ Contracted labour wherever necessary & get all works executed as per time schedule & Quality Stds.
• Design, Plan & Execute Weekly/ Monthly Scheduled Maintenance Works.

Key Criteria:

• Should have basic knowledge of all Faculties of Civil Engineering & Interiors including Plumbing, Electrical, Sanitary, Fire Safety etc.,
• Should analyse every indicator/ parameter/ Symptom to the deep root cause and fix both short term & long term solutions.
• Should be highly meticulous & have penchant for minute micro details of his/her work
• Should be very punctual.
• Flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
• Ability to multi-task and be proactive.
• Should have high patience levels to hear out
• Ability to remain calm under pressure from parents & employees and complete all tasks to a high standard.
• Have soft skills when handling janitorial and security teams.
• Must be a keen learner.
