Job Description
A Bajaj Life Insurance Unit Manager manages day-to-day operations, leads a sales team to achieve business targets, and handles recruitment, training, and performance management for agents. Key responsibilities include achieving sales goals, ensuring compliance and process adherence, building and maintaining relationships with clients and bank partners, and coordinating with internal departments.
Core responsibilities :
Team management: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of agents to meet or exceed sales targets.
Business development: Drive sales for assigned channels, identify new opportunities, and implement sales strategies to achieve business numbers.
Performance and operations: Track team performance, manage daily operations, ensure compliance, and oversee processes like case management and customer service issues.
Sales governance: Ensure adherence to systems, processes, and regulatory requirements to prevent misselling and reduce customer complaints.
Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at partner banks and with existing and potential customers.
Required skills and qualifications :
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills are essential.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
Analytical skills: The ability to analyze data, track performance, and provide reports is crucial.
Sales and insurance experience: Experience in the insurance or a related industry is a plus.
Education: A Bachelor's degree is often preferred, and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field may be required for certain roles.
Technical skills: Proficiency with systems like Salesforce is beneficial.
