Reports To: Sr Accounts Manager
Position Location: Banara, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
Position Summary
Should be a fast accountant capable of operating on TALLY accounting package with highest importance for ethics & quality work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Recording financial transactions (Journal, Receipts, Payments)
· Maintaining general ledgers and statement / dues
· Maintaining cashbook
· Proper record keeping
· Processing invoices, calculation and payments
· Bank Reconciliation with bank statements and resolving discrepancies
· Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
· Assisting in budgeting and forecasting
· GST / TDS / ESIC / PF preparation report
· Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
· Claim expenses processing and reimbursements
· Maintaining financial records and documentation daily basis
· Coordinating with vendors, and internal departments
Key Criteria
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and Tally prime
· Utilize AI-assisted productivity tools to draft professional emails, generate documents (docx/excel), and compile daily activity reports
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
· Good communication and organizational abilities
· Knowledge of GST and taxation laws
· Positive attitude and goal oriented
· Should fluently converse in English, Hindi and Oriya.
· Should be very friendly & amicable to all visitors & staff.
· Should be very punctual.
· Good written communication skills and strong inter-personal skills.
· Flexible ‘can do’ attitude.
· Ability to multi-task and be proactive.
· Should have high patience levels.
· Ability to remain calm under pressure.
· Must be a keen learner.
· Should be highly meticulous & have penchant for minute micro details of his/her work.
· Expected to develop a high-quality attitude and professional communication.
Educational Back Ground
The person should be a graduate/ B Com/BBA Finance/ MBA Finance.
Age & Experience
Any candidate who meets the above key criteria with 1-4 years’ work experience shall be considered. Preference for male candidate.
Remuneration
CTC shall vary based on experience and current salary.
