Construction / Site Supervisor

A Structure and Finishing Supervisor manages on-site building operations, split between the core structural phase (foundation, columns, slabs) and the final aesthetic/functional phase (masonry, plastering, tiling, painting). They bridge the gap between project managers and labor crews to ensure compliance with specifications.

Core Structural Responsibilities

• Supervise civil elements like excavation, foundations, concrete pouring, and steel reinforcement.
• Interpret structural engineering and architectural blueprints accurately.
• Coordinate heavy equipment positioning and material logistics.
• Ensure structural safety, quality control checks, and mandatory testing. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Finishing Phase Responsibilities

• Oversee block-work, internal/external plastering, and waterproofing layers.
• Manage flooring installation, marble/tile laying, and false ceilings.
• Monitor painting, wall panels, façade installation, and joinery fittings.
• Coordinate with MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) teams for concealed work integration.
• Prepare final snag lists and ensure defect rectifications before handover.
