Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to continuously improve and adapt solutions that meet evolving business requirements, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software solutions with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data storage solutions.
- Experience in designing and optimizing database schemas for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with SQL and data integration techniques within data warehouse environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues efficiently.
- Understanding of security best practices and data governance in cloud data platforms.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Bhubaneswar office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
