Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring smooth daily operations, and providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Assign work schedules and monitor task completion.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, washrooms, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Train, guide, and evaluate housekeeping team members.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies, linens, and cleaning equipment inventory.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly.
• Maintain attendance records, duty rosters, and housekeeping reports.
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

QualificationsMinimum:

• 12th Pass or Graduate (preferred).
• Diploma/Certification in Housekeeping or Hotel Management is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Ability to work under pressure and in shifts.
• Strong customer service orientation.
