Printer Technician – Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain printers and multifunction devices.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues such as paper jams, rollers, printheads, fusers, and power problems.
  • Troubleshoot software, driver, and network connectivity issues.
  • Replace consumables and spare parts (toner, drums, maintenance kits, etc.).
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal printer performance.
  • Install and update printer firmware and drivers.
  • Maintain service records and prepare maintenance reports.
  • Provide technical support and training to users when needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs and spare parts procurement.
