Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Design to lead the design team and oversee cost estimation for residential and commercial interior projects. The candidate should have a passion for design and a strong understanding of AutoCAD, 2 D and 3D visualization tools .The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of materials, modular systems, and interior execution processes, along with proficiency in design software and costing analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design team, providing creative direction and technical guidance.
• Develop innovative, functional, cost-effective interior layouts and design concepts aligned with client and market trends.
• Review client requirements and translate them into design concepts and working drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with client preferences, budgets, and functional requirements. Recommend innovative solutions within client budgets .Also oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain strong client relationships; attend meetings, presentations, and site visits.
• Review and approve 2D layouts, 3D visualizations, mood boards, and material palettes.
• Coordinate in production and site teams to ensure seamless execution of approved designs.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior designers and drafters.
• Recruit, train, and mentor junior designers and staff.
• Conduct design reviews, material selections, and finish approvals.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and finishes.
• Monitor department performance, revenue targets, and profitability.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of modular furniture, material specifications, finishes, and fittings.
• Proficiency in design tools: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion (or relevant software).
• Knowledge of modular fitting systems (e.g., Hettich, Hafele, Blum).
• Good understanding of wood, laminates, PU, acrylics, veneers, and surface materials.
• Excellent visualization, presentation, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Recruit, train, and mentor junior designers and staff.
• Lead the design team.

Experience:

• Minimum 08 years and above of experience in interior manufacturing or modular furniture production with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Educational Requirements:

•  Degree in Interior Design / Furniture Technology /Architecture or relevant field.
