Job Description
Job Title: Pharma Counter Sales Executive / Pharmacist
Location: Cuttack Road, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for a trained and customer-focused Pharma Counter Sales Executive to join our retail pharmacy team. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of medicines, customer handling skills, and experience in pharmacy billing and inventory management. We prefer local candidates for this job.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend to customers and dispense medicines as per prescriptions.
* Provide accurate information regarding medicine usage, dosage, and storage.
* Handle billing using pharmacy software and maintain transaction records.
* Ensure proper storage and organization of medicines as per regulatory requirements.
* Maintain inventory, check expiry dates, and assist in stock management.
* Guide customers toward suitable OTC products while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
* Deliver excellent customer service and build long-term customer relationships.
* Maintain cleanliness and professional standards at the pharmacy counter.
Eligibility Criteria
* D.Pharma / B.Pharma preferred.
* Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
* Knowledge of generic and branded medicines.
* Familiarity with pharmacy and accounting software such as Marg ERP, GoFrugal, Tally ERP, or similar systems.
* Good communication skills in Odia, Hindi, and basic English.
* Strong customer service orientation and professional attitude.
Preferred Skills
* Experience working in a retail medical store.
* Ability to identify medicine substitutes and understand salt compositions.
* Basic inventory, billing, stock management, and Tally ERP knowledge.
* Quick learning ability and attention to detail.
