Job Description
*Job Summary*
The Chef Restaurant is looking for a courteous and energetic Waiter/Steward to join our team. You’ll deliver excellent guest experiences by providing attentive service, taking accurate orders, and maintaining cleanliness across our dining area.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Greet and seat guests warmly, present menus, and explain specials
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, following hygiene and presentation standards
- Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests
- Clear tables, reset covers, and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely service
- Handle guest queries and complaints politely, escalating when needed
- Follow FSSAI food safety guidelines and restaurant SOPs
- Assist with opening/closing duties, stocking, and side work
*Requirements*
- 10th pass or higher; hotel management certificate preferred
- 5years+ experience in restaurants/hotels; freshers with good attitude welcome
- Basic communication in Hindi, Odia, and English
- Well-groomed, punctual, and able to stand for long hours
- Team player with a positive attitude and guest-first mindset
*Working Conditions*
- 6-day work week with rotational shifts including weekends/holidays
- Meal on duty + service charge + tips
- Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 per month based on experience
