Assistant Manager - Electrical
- Lead and oversee the electrical engineering activities in power generation, transmission, or distribution projects, ensuring technical and safety standards are rigorously maintained.
- Plan, design, and supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems including transformers, switchgear, motors, generators, protection relays, and control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including civil, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated project delivery and operational synergy
. - Conduct detailed electrical load analysis, fault diagnosis, and energy efficiency assessments to enhance system reliability and optimize power consumption
. - Prepare and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements and regulatory compliances.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve system lifecycle performance.
- Monitor electrical asset health using advanced condition monitoring tools and implement corrective actions as required.
- Manage vendor relationships, evaluate supplier proposals, and oversee procurement of electrical equipment ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Ensure adherence to statutory, environmental, and safety standards, and lead initiatives to strengthen electrical safety culture at the workplace.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians, fostering a learning environment aligned with Adani’s commitment to employee growth and empowerment
. - Lead root cause analysis for electrical failures, propose remedial actions, and implement lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities for inspections, audits, and certification of electrical systems.
- Drive innovation by recommending and deploying emerging electrical technologies to improve plant efficiency and sustainability
. - Prepare and present technical reports, project status updates, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Support budgeting and cost control activities for electrical projects and maintenance operations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a reputed university or institute.
