Job Description
- Roles & Responsibilities – Automobile Service Manager (GM-Level Role)Handle complete automobile workshop operations independently
- Manage end-to-end servicing, repair, maintenance, and vehicle scrapping activities
- Oversee vehicle scrapping process as per legal and government compliance
- Supervise technicians, mechanics, supervisors, and workshop staff
- Plan and control daily workflow, job cards, productivity, and turnaround time
- Ensure quality standards, safety norms, and workshop discipline
- Coordinate with spare parts vendors, scrap dealers, and service suppliers
- Monitor inventory, tools, equipment, and workshop expenses
- Handle customer complaints, escalations, and service satisfaction
- Maintain MIS reports, service records, and operational documentation
- Implement cost control and efficiency improvement measures
- Take full ownership of workshop performance, similar to a GM role
