Job Description
Job SummaryDetail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Picker with 6 months of experience at WellBe Foods. Skilled in accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders while maintaining quality standards and hygiene requirements in a food warehouse environment.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists and picking slips
- Ensure accuracy of items, quantities, and batch details
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per food safety guidelines
- Assist with inventory checks and stock counting
- Label and prepare shipments for dispatch
- Follow FIFO (First In First Out) for perishable goods
- Coordinate with supervisors and warehouse team for smooth operations
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
- Skills & CompetenciesBasic knowledge of warehouse operations
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Basic communication skills
- Team collaboration
- Physical stamina for lifting and moving items
