Job Description
Job Description (JD) – In-Process Quality EngineerPosition: In-Process Quality Engineer
Location: Ambethan, Chakan
Experience: 1–3 Years
Industry: Sheet Metal Fabrication / Manufacturing
Qualification: Diploma / BE Mechanical or relevant field
- Roles & Responsibilities:Conduct in-process inspection during production activities.
- Ensure products comply with customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor fabrication processes and identify quality issues.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
- Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
- Analyze defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production teams to reduce rejection and improve process quality.
- Handle customer quality requirements and internal quality audits.
- Monitor rework and rejection data and prepare quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and safety standards.
- Required Skills:Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication.
- Knowledge of Welding, Press Shop, and Fabrication Processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Quality Tools (7 QC Tools, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram).
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and report preparation.
- Salary:10 Hours Duty: ₹22,000 – ₹24,000 In-Hand
- 12 Hours Duty: ₹24,000 – ₹26,000 In-Hand
- Salary depends on interview performance and experience.
