Job Description – Rental Manager

 

Company: Indian Lifters

Location: Chakan

Industry: Forklift / Material Handling Rental

📝 Brief Work

Manage complete forklift rental operations including customer handling, machine deployment, billing, utilization tracking, operator management, breakdown coordination and rental business growth.

🎓 Education

             •           Graduate (Any stream)

             •           Preferred: Mechanical / Automobile Diploma or Degree

             •           Basic knowledge of Excel & ERP (ERPNext preferred)

💼 Experience

             •           7 to 15 Years experience in Equipment Rental / Forklift / Construction Equipment

             •           Experience in handling multiple machines at customer sites

             •           Team handling experience (Operators + Supervisors)

🧠 Skills Required

             •           Rental operations management 🚜

             •           Customer relationship handling 🤝

             •           Machine utilization planning 📊

             •           Operator management 👷‍♂️

             •           Billing & contract knowledge 💰

             •           Breakdown coordination ⚙️

             •           Strong follow-up skills 📞

             •           Excel & ERP knowledge 💻

👤 Age Criteria

             •           30 to 45 Years Preferred

             •           Male Preferred (Site visits required)

💰 Salary Range

             •           ₹40,000 to ₹75,000 per month (Based on experience)

             •           Performance incentive (Based on utilization)

             •           Petrol / Travel allowance

📋 Key Responsibilities

             •           Manage forklift rental fleet

             •           Ensure maximum machine utilization

             •           Coordinate machine deployment & shifting

             •           Handle customer complaints

             •           Coordinate breakdown with service team

             •           Manage operators attendance & performance

             •           Monitor idle machines & reduce idle time

             •           Prepare monthly rental billing

             •           Track contract start & end dates

             •           Follow-up for payment collection

             •           Expand rental business & new customers

             •           Maintain rental MIS reports

             •           Can handle 50+ machines

             •           Strong customer network
