Job Description
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial health. They analyze financial data, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
Handle payroll processing and related reporting (if applicable)
Coordinate with auditors during audits
Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
