Job Description

Billing & Transaction Processing: Handle day-to-day point-of-sale (POS) operations, scan items accurately, and process cash, credit/debit cards, and UPI transactions.


Cash Management: Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring zero discrepancy. Report any financial variances to the store manager.


Customer Service: Greet customers when they arrive and leave the counter. Address customer queries regarding billing, product pricing, or store offers.


Counter Maintenance: Keep the billing counter clean, hygienic, and organized. Follow mandatory safety and sanitization guidelines.


Verification: Verify currency denominations, check for counterfeit notes, and adhere to DMart's mandatory discount and invoicing checks.
