Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and manage our online business operations across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and our own website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, optimizing sales performance, and improving customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Management
- Manage product listings, pricing, and inventory across marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart
- Ensure listings are optimized (SEO, keywords, images, descriptions)
- Monitor account health, ratings, and compliance
2. Order & Inventory Management
- Oversee order processing, fulfillment, and returns
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking
3. Performance Monitoring
- Track KPIs such as sales, conversion rate, return rate, and profit margins
- Analyze data and generate reports to improve performance
- Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies
4. Marketing & Promotions
- Plan and execute campaigns (deals, ads, seasonal offers)
- Manage paid ads within platforms
- Coordinate with creative team for banners, images, and content
5. Customer Experience
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews
- Resolve escalations and improve customer satisfaction
- Implement processes to reduce returns and complaints
6. Vendor & Team Coordination
- Work with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams
- Train and manage junior staff or executives
- Ensure smooth cross-functional communication
- Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations
- Strong knowledge of marketplace operations (especially Amazon and Flipkart)
- Experience with tools like Excel, Google Analytics, and seller dashboards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities
- Preferred QualificationsExperience in D2C brands or startup environments
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
